17 October 2026 Meeting

• The meeting for October 17, this Saturday at Maryland Hall Room 206.  The room is on the second floor across from the main auditorium. 

• Same as last month.  We plan to have a short business meeting followed by Show and Tell and the Bring Back Exchange (Monty is on tap).  

• The meeting will begin at 0900 sharp. 

• Our demonstrator this month is Tom Wirsing, Past President of AAW.  He will demonstrate his method of turning platters and using his scrapers to best advantage.  I will forward read ahead material from Chuck under separate email.  

• This will be a hybrid ZOOM experience with a canned demonstration while Tom will be live to provide color and answer questions in real time.  We also plan to broadcast live over ZOOM to those who can’t attend in person.  Please look for ZOOM instructions to follow at the end of the week.   

• November – Richard Findley - Remote demonstration

• December - Ornament swap
